Research on Measures for the Revitalization of Chinese Traditional Metal Crafts

Abstract  This paper studies measures for the revitalization of traditional metal craft based on more than 20 traditional Chinese metal crafts that have entered the national protection list. Based on comprehensive research work, it analyzes the current staus of traditional Chinese metal crafts, considering such aspects as craft inheritance and adaptation to modern life, artistic creativity and cultural excavation, government and folk protection, industrial organization and tourist promotion, and technical protection and branding, etc. It puts forward suggestions for further measures to contribute to the revitalization of Chinese metal crafts, highlighting that traditional culture is an important component of traditional crafts. The revitalization of traditional Chinese crafts should focus on cultural construction to have substantial significance.
